Celebrity Feature: Bollywood couple Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif
27 May 2007
Much has been written about Salman Khan, who is one of the most successful actors of his generation, and along with Aamir and Shah Rukh, makes up the top three male stars. Girlfriend Katrina Kaif has been causing a stir in the film industry with her fresh beauty and rocking style. Together, they create quite a pair, having made a movie together, and featured on the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
The 41-year-old scion of a film family, Salman has been not-so-quietly ruling over Bollywood's tinseltown from his apartment in Bandra, a posh suburb of Mumbai. After his first big break in Maine Pyar Kiya, for which he took home a Filmfare award, he went on to moderate success until his pairing with Madhuri Dixit in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. Other hits followed including Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Biwi No. 1.

'Keep Vivek away from me!'
27 May, 2007
At the premiere of gangster flick Shootout at Lokhandwala in a suburban multiplex on Thursday night, the real action was elsewhere and not on screen. The plot in this scene involved macho man Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi, who have been at loggerheads for the past few years after failed relationships they mutually shared with an actress.
Salman
and the entire Khan family came to see the film which has brother Arbaaz in a prominent role. However, just before they arrived at the venue, Salman's friend allegedly made a request to the film's producer Sanjay Gupta. He asked him to ensure that Vivek, who plays the main role in Shootout at Lokhandwala , was nowhere around to hug Salman and create a scene for the media cameras.
